I wish the Falcons and the Braves would worry about the team as much as a new stadium. Boston has a winning team in an old stadium.
The Braves are getting greedy. They're now charging season ticket holders $125 per seat if they want paper tickets. No thank you.
Where have you been Steven Jackson? Hiding behind a worthless offensive line.
Never thought I would see the Falcons at 2-7 this season.
Calm down people it's not like the Braves are leaving the State of Georgia.
The city of Atlanta has no one to blame but itself when it comes to the Braves moving to Cobb County. 20 years of promies to renovate and re-invest in the area around Turner Field have resulted in nothing at all. The stadium needs repairs, none of which would improve fan safety or experience. Good on the Braves for taking initiative and moving. And thank God they're not bulldozing churches to get what they want.
If I lived in Cobb County I'd make plans to move. Taxes will go up-but not to pay teachers-but to pay for a baseball stadium.
I guess Matt Ryan would have been crazy to take less money but he may wish he had seeing how the new supporting cast can't play worth a flip.
Does Tech have any hope against Clemson tonight? Of course it does. Go Jackets.
I now understand why Glen Davis is nicknamed "Big Baby".
I wish people would only Vent after they're informed about the topic they are venting about... Why are people so mad about the Braves move when they haven't even heard the specific details of the deal?
Looks like the Gwinnett Braves games are about to get more crowded....
OK UGA, we really need this win over Auburn this weekend. A 4-loss season? Who would have thought that?
Moving to Cobb makes little sense. They should take another close look at the demographics map. They need to be moving NORTH and outside of I-285....the same general direction that the fan base is moving.
Most realists never thought UGA would lose less than 3 games this year.
Calm down folks. Believe a Braves move when you see it. There's a lot of time left on the clock.
