When will Lou Holtz and Brent Musberger understand that almost every team in the SEC can mop the floor with Notre Dame? ND couldn't make it in the SEC - PERIOD.
Alabama exposed the overrated Irish. Going 12-0 against less than stellar competition showed up in the pounding they took.
Te'o just might be the most overrated player ever. He looked terrible tonight.
About the only SEC team Notre Dame could've beat is Auburn.
Dear Irish: Welcome to the SEC. Love Bama
Why was Notre Dame even playing in the NC? There were many more deserving teams.
Well, people tried to convince themselves Notre Dame had a chance.
Boy this ND team is going to be a force for years to come. I already hear the hype machine.
Am so ready for playoffs. ND had no business at that game, Should of been Alabama and Oregon. The real National Championship this year was on Dec. 1 in Atlanta between Alabama and UGA.
Hey Notre Dame..don't mess with the SEC!!
Notre Dame had NO pass rush and couldn't tackle Honey Boo Boo.
Brent Musberger was creepy when gushing over AJ McCarron's girlfriend. Weird.
Next year the NCAA should just award the BCS title to the SEC champ after the conference championship! Save time.
Guess it will be #1 Bama #2 Oregon #3 Texas A&M and #4 UGA. .. and # 27 Notre Dame.
I'd rather have the NHL than the NBA. Fighting is better than whining.
The game was actually closer than I thought. I had Bama by 30.
.....and that folks is why the SEC rules college football. Oregon, you can compete against "others" but would fall flat against Alabama. Ohio St. might be a worthy loser as well.
Hail Mary Full of Grace, Alabama's in 1st place.
What a nightmare!! I dreamed UGA was in the Western Div. and had to play LSU, Bama, & A&M.
Now watch Alabama try to change the state bird to a FOOTBALL.
That could have been UGA out there blowing Notre Dame out if they had just spiked the @$$#@#$ ball!
It shoulda been us...
GT dominated a team that no one gave them a chance of beating and UGA had to come back in the 4th quarter and beat a team they were suppose to destroy. So who were the real bowl underachievers?
I don't understand why Aaron Murray is coming back to play another year of college football. What can another 3,000-plus yard season prove that the last three didn't?
