Who knew that MLB has an Outfield Fly Rule?
Thank you, Falcons, for keeping this from being one of the worst Atlanta sports weekends in a while.
After giving up 44 points to Tennessee, no one should have been surprised by getting steamrolled by the Gamecocks.
Tony Gonzalez, one word...........BEAST
Like him or hate him, Steve Spurrier can coach football.
Aaron Murray's house egged and TPed after the loss at USC? Stay classy, Georgia fans.
Falcons saved this from being a totally disastrous weekend for locally popular teams. The birds are for real.
As a Braves' fan I feel like Charlie Brown after Lucy tells me to kick the football.
Dear Atlanta, The taxpayers do not want our taxes used to build a new stadium. Way more important things need our financing. Let the spoiled owners and players build their own playground.
UGA: outplayed, outcoached, and outclassed.
It could be worse. We could be Auburn.
Im a UGA fan through and through, i will not jump off the bandwagon due to a loss. But im still TICKED OFF AT THAT SORRY EXCUSE FOR A GAME. RUN SOME LAPS BOYS!!!
Multi-car crash on last lap at Talladega: Is that even news anymore?
If Wren can get someone to pick up Uggla's contract and trade Hanson, the Braves will have loads of cash to get some good players.
I repeat: Can ANYONE in the ACC play DEFENSE?
No matter how you guys think about the Braves, I am still very proud of them and love them. Maybe it is not fair for them to go through this crazy one-game playoff. But it was fair for every team from the Spring Training. I hope my Braves will win the division next year and let the one-game playoff be unfair to others!
as a tech fan i would be thrilled to have 1 loss every 5 games.
Congrats to Braves fans at the wild card game. You had every right to trash the field when the ump made his lousy call.
thanks falcons for saving this dreadful sports weekend.
To the venter who hates Steve Spurrier and the horse he rode in on------you don't hate Spurrier, you are just plain jealous.
UGA welcome to the major league with no cup cakes.
Okay, you can now feel cautious optimism for the Atlanta Falcons.
Playing unranked teams got you a 5, playng a ranked team got you a real bigger #14. Now that is really moving up.
The only thing I can say about the game, is that Ga. needs someone other than Bobo calling thier plays. How much passing did they do? Every play was a running play which the roosters overpowered them everytime they run hte ball. Clearly, the Roosters were a better football team on Saturday night.
I hope when the Nationals are done with the Cardinals, there are nothing but red feathers on the field!
That's funny, I don't remember seeing Spurrier throw his visor Saturday night.
14th. Just about where UGA should be.
If you were an owner of an MLB team would you pick up Uggla's contract? I didn't think so. He's a Braves starter for 3 more years and probably beyond.
If coaching changes at Georgia are now being planned would you call this a BYE-BYE week?
I'm Auburn. And, yes, it will likely get worse. When did YOU have a national championship?
Aaron Murray is the most over rated QB in college football.
Yo Tony Stewart! No driver is gonna "lift" on the last lap at 'dega! You and every race fan in the world knows that!!
NASCAR lost a lifetime fan Sunday for the late race caution that was for nothing else but to put JR back on the lead lap. I'm fed up with the way NASCAR caters to this mediocre driver who has a name, but not much talent. That last lap wreck would not have happened if they hadn't thrown the JR caution flag.
Trade Uggla. He really is worthless.
I guess Tony Stewart's spotter was sleeping and didn't tell him a car was coming along side him.
The call didn't cost the Braves the game. Their crappy defense did. Stop whining. GO REDS!
Chipper, after Friday's perfomance at bat and in the field, it's time to move on.
Now that Chipper is gone, can we get a 3rd baseman who can hit, field and PLAY every day?
I hate Steve Spurrier and the horse he rode in on.
This Dawg fan will be happy with 1 loss for every 5 wins each season for the rest of his life.
Congrats Drew Brees!
