I saw this little old lady Friday trying to tell cashier at parking lot that her husband was in ICU and his SS check hadn't come yet and she had no money for parking. They were very nice to her but the more I looked at that poor little lady who could hardly walk the more my heart hurt for her. I know I must have scared her when I blocked her old car in but I had to stop her. I gave her everything I had in my billfold($300). She just started crying and so did I. My wife told me that that was the nicest thing she had ever seen me do. Did you know the first thing she did was try to pay the cashier. What a great old lady.

Can't wait to get home for Thanksgiving. Mom promised to make me her world famous sweet potato casserole. It alone is worth saving my party money to be able to come home. Never thought I would miss my family like this. Even my brother who is such a pain sometimes.

Our little dog pointed something in the high grass near the woods today. Come to find out it was a covey of quail. My husband is so proud of her now. We thought there weren't anymore in Pickens County. I'm glad they are still around here.

We always wear orange when we go riding on our horses because you can't ever tell when a hunter is around. We also make a lot of noise so they can hear us coming so the deer can run also.

I got 2 horses just like you did in Blairsville,Ga.The people couldn't find a buyer and they couldn't feed them so they gave them to us last year.We just love them.You can tell they were really loved.The only thing wrong with them were their grown out hooves.We ride them almost everyday.

I'm new to cooking so I thought I would ask my Unvent family a cooking question. Why would you put dry mustard in homemade mac&cheese? Could you put regular hotdog mustard in instead. Going to make it for my family on Thanksgiving as a surprise.I really, really need your help.Thanks ya'll.

With both families coming for Thanksgiving I have to bake both sweet potato and pumpkin pies, turkey stuffing and dressing and his family loves raw celery with cheese to go with drinks before dinner and we don't drink. I think the best I can give them will be Virgin Marys. I hope they don't mind.
