I buried my husband a veteran of Vietnam, six weeks ago. Visited his newly placed headstone at the Georgia National Cemetary yesterday. I could not be more proud of him and the legacy he left behind.
THANK YOU VETERANS!
Many thanks to the Cobb County Police officer who pulled me over to let me know that my tire was going flat. He was looking out for my safety and wanted to be sure that I didn't damage my rim. Hats off to the CCPD.
God Bless all of our Veterans and those who serve now. You are THE BEST!
Whenever I am standing in line with a military person or police officer or fire fighter I always try to buy them their lunch or coffee and tell them THANK YOU. I have had several people almost cry with appreciation.
Neighbors, like children, are better seen, not heard.
Just as a note: gifts by their very definition are supposed to be free.
A cool night, soup in the crock pot, bread in the oven, fire in the fire place, a little wine, snuggling with my pups...Ahhhh!
Ya'll watch out raking on these warm afternoons.I raked up a snake and found out after I killed it that it was a copperhead.I couldn't believe it could be out in November.
Granddaughter saw all my can goods that I had done this summer and ask if she could count all of them. She came back up and said"Grandma do you know that you canned 325 jars this year what are you going to do with all that?"I told her that it was for Christmas presents for our family, friends and people in need. She said" Can I have the jams?"I just had to laugh.Love my Babies.
Georgia Aquarium also pays for Auburn Ave, King Center etc.
I think Bernie Marcus is very much like the Shaheen family.....always thinking of others.
Congratulations to the "Georgia High School Cheerleader of the Year" from her Allatoona Family!
