My Father died when I was 11.There were 6 children and I was the oldest.My Mother took in laundry and worked as a cook.I didn't feel like it was a burden to have to help raise my brothers and sisters,cleaned the house and cooked because we were a family.We never ask for help.We kept a garden,chickens and a couple of hogs.We went to Church every Sunday and thanked the Lord for what we had.We still are a close family.Our Mother raised us right

Many people work very hard today just not with physical labor. Times have changed and so have the stresses of supporting yourself and a family. So we shouldn't be too critical when they take time out for themselves and their families. Unless you walk a mile in their shoes.......
