Growing old may not be great, but it's better than the alternative.
Thank you Georgia Lottery! My son maintained his college GPA at GA Tech and kept the HOPE scholarship for four years.
I can remember when my Dad passed away when he was 56. I thought he was so old because I was only 16. Now I realize how stupid I was and how many years we missed with him.
My grown son gave me the best birthday present. He gave me gift cards(one for each month) from Kroger. That is going to be such a big help. Thanks Kip. I love you.

We are now in the mountains of Tn at our friends farm.We brought enough of our horses for all of us to ride at Cades Cove in Townsend,Tn all this next week. Now this is a vacation I have been dreaming of. I want to thank the Lord for helping us. He made all of this possible.
When my grand-dog visits, (a Yorkie), and I take her leash and harness out, she just about sticks her own head in it, because she knows she's going walking. I love that little dog.
Yeah, picked my first beets today. I roasted them and they were so worth the purple fingers. My young children saw my purple fingers and properly wanted to help. First time they ever ate their beets. It was because they grew them that made them so good.
