I do not like or accept the fact that taxes will be raised, SS cut and Medicare extended to age 67 just as I am approaching age 65 and looked forward to being able to have assistance with my medical bills without having to move into the poor house.

One checked bag for free would help, but the problem is not going away until the airlines have the guts to enforce the carry on rules. All the rules need to be enforced, both size and number.

Unfortunately, it is Social Security and Medicare that are the two elephants in the rooim with respect to the deficit. They must be addressed along with other programs.
