If a compromise must be reached before Congress can agree on preventing the financial cliff, then how about abolishing all pay raises for both houses for four years? I don't think this will even be a subject of discussion.

So the top vote getting vent was submitted by someone who doesn't know the difference between the Atlanta School Board and the Atlanta City Council. No wonder we are in so much trouble.
Can we call a special election to vote out council members who voted themselves a huge pay raise and school board members who haven't renewed the contract of Superintendent Davis who bravely stepped into a snake nest of corruption and cleaned house.
Instead of buying all of those tacky lights and lawn ornaments, and paying an inflated electric bill. Why not pay the electric bill for a person who lost their job? Why not buy their family some food? Isn't that what Christmas should really be about?
