Having a pre-existing condition is not the same as a wrecked car. Many of the so called pre-existing conditions don't actually have any cost to the insurance companies. Having been treated for a disease does not always mean you are currently suffering from these ailments, but the insurance companies don't want to insure you - they want Zero risk. One day, you'll most likely have a pre-existing condition - then what will YOU do?

If you read the statistics on the 47% that don't pay income tax, you'll find that 82% of them are employed and not mooching - they just don't have taxable income after various deductions and credits. As we already know, Mitt Romney benefits from the tax code of deductions,credits and capital gains tax rate, too, since his tax rate was about 15%. Do you think he's a moocher for paying such a low rate on such high income?
