Chik-fila has motivated young people who are learning skills that can be used any future job (hard work, initiative, customer service). They're a world apart from the other fast food chains!
I'm waiting for the thugs around GA Tech to choose an innocent-appearing but armed and angry target.
Michael Jackson was a cute little boy who grew up to be a troubled adult.
Atlanta is a cosmopolitan city with residents from all over the country and the world. You need to get out of the metro Atlanta area to even get close to the true south and it's people
Just because some are grieving for Michael Jackson, does not mean that we can't grieve for Farrah, Ed McMahon, etc.
You really can't complain about whether has "southern hospitality" since the majority of it's residents are transplants. Go to a smaller Georgia town and you'll still see it!
The maximum price of $1,000 for a Beyone concert ticket listed in the article MUST be a typo. Nobody, let alone a subpar pop star has that much talent!
The Atlanta City Council has voted to raise property taxes, again. I guess they really do want homeowners to move out of the city.
I don't want to know whether your kid is an honor student. Just teach him/her some humility and take that bumper sticker off.
McCartney is worth $80 a ticket but the venue needs to have chairs and be air conditioned. I'm not paying $80 to sweat with thousands of people in close proximity to each other.
Michael, welcome to Rock 'n Roll Heaven. There's Frank, Deano, Sammy, Buddy Holly, two of the original Beach Boys... Let me talk to Elvis before you say anything. He's still mad about that whole Lisa Marie thing.
I agree about the media turning Michael into another Elvis. One Elvis was ENOUGH.
R.I.P. Billy Mays. You will be missed.
TOO late, witness the merchandising of MJ.
WSB-TV announcers make the big bucks, but they are so dumb.
No concert is worth $50....not even $40. Listening to the same person singing the same sounding songs is NOT my idea of fun.
"Has anyone ever asked their doctor for a perscription drug advertised on TV?" Ask your doctor.
I liked a few of MJs songs but I'd never admit it.
With Billy Mays dead, we won't need to use the mute button on the TV anymore.
Billy Mays, I cannot say RIP to you. for obvious reasons. You will be missed though.
Sorry, Michael Jackson has reached Elvis stature, like it or not.
I find the negative numbers on the vents lamenting Jackson's death disturbing. Shows that bigotry, even in death, is alive and well.
Voting MJ votes down won't change the fact that he was the King!
