Just up the payroll and keep our pitching. I'm tired of having a half of a team.
It's our pitching staff and we should not trade them. Other then Lowe, just spend the money to get a hitter or two. That's what will get you the series, not giving away the best pitcher we have for a slumping outfielder.
Just get a darn power hitter!
Hanson has been suggested as a closer. Some suggestion are too dumb to recognize. This is one of them.
Best Case Scenerio:The Braves sign a big time power hitter. Worst Case Scenerio: Braves keep Greg Norton on the 25-man roster.
So the Braves plan to improve the offense, huh? Well, being interested in the likes of Mike Cameron and Corey Hart says otherwise.
And why would we trade Vazquez? Would we have traded Maddux, Glavine or Smoltz in their primes?
If Vazquez, JJ, and Hanson repeat what they did last season, all we'll need is a bat and we're playoff bound!
Numerous decisions are being made with Freeman in mind. I hope he's worth it.
I think a consistent offense this year gets us to the playoffs
Keep our pitchers and give them the hitter they deserve. Trade for Gonzalez and spend the money to sign a bat in the outfield.
Thanks for hustling no matter what, Matt Diaz
Vazquez is the only pitcher the Braves has who consistently buckles the knees of opposing batters. Trade any other pitcher.
If the Braves had scored him a few more runs, Tommy Hanson could have won the Cy Young !
If the cheap Liberty Media would ante up the money, then we could get some good hitters!
Keep LaRoche. We'll let him report to spring training in January, by April he will be in his midseason form.
Braves fans--Be prepared for 2010 because the team of the '90s is coming back.
Anyone wanting to trade Escobar clearly doesn't know what's what in this game.
Hanson came in third but I would still take him over numbers one and two.
Best case scenario: Liberty gives the team $10-15 million to shop around with so they can get anybody they want.
It's amazing! Wren's willing to spend close to $100 million on pitching but won't pay more than $7 million for offense.
This should say it all on the Proctor signing: "Proctor has converted only one of his 15 career save opportunities."
Josh Willingham? Mike Cameron? Mark DeRosa? Pass. Pass. Pass.
Do any of these players know there is a recession going on and fans would rather pay their MORTGAGE than go to a game or two?
We love ya, Huddy!
