I told my kids I didn't have much to spend on Christmas this year, and was very pleased to hear both of them say, that gifts were not the meaning of Christmas, and that I supplied all their needs all year long, and they were not worried about not getting presents, they just wanted to enjoy the day with the family!

The construction company didn't "buy a graveyard"...it bought an overgrown, abandoned, uncared for lot. When they found the graves, the company did the honorable thing. The descendants, however, didn't give a hoot until they smelled a lawsuit.

The Jonesboro "dancers'" dance WAS obscene when you consider how OLD they are and WHERE they performed.

It seems to me that we are punishing educators for the irresponsibility of the parents. Educators are paid to educate/teach our children subject matter and curriculum. It is the parents responsibility to teach proper public behavior and demeanor to include dress and actions.

Notice your order of blame.... teacher, school board, then parent. A parent is a child's "first" teacher. That is where you should begin.

My mother in law brings in $18k/year from pension & retirement and is denied food stamps. Worked hard all her life, paid into the system & when she needs help she gets none.
