House arrest for killing 5 people, leaving the scene of the accident and trying to hide the crime ? Justice was not served!
I will not apologize to the NAACP nor anyone else for something that happened 100 years ago that I had nothing to do with.
22 years old, five children, and pregnant, and still living with mama. Water is the least of your problems.
Any stimulus Atlanta gets should be used on infrastructure, not a lame civil rights museum.
Yes, racism is everywhere, but here Blacks can be openly racist against whites with impunity, while continually blaming racism for their own shortcomings.
OK, can we be honest and agree that slavery is an old issue and no one currently alive was around when it happened? Those responsible have been gone for generations and I dont think anyone should be required to apologize for things they never did.
Finally! I'm glad somebody finally took out one of these thugs instead of getting robbed. Maybe they'll start to fear robbing people instead of us being afraid of them.
If the city does receive bail out money, can we keep it away from Shirley Franklin please?
No more whining from blacks about slavery. They picked cotton. I'm Jewish. We spent a thousand years building pyramids. Then we got burned in Germany. We did not waste energy complaining. We educated ourselves instead.
Maybe we wouldn't need so many police if these thugs were prosecuted and put in prison to stay off the streets when they are caught.
Just because you want to buy alcohol at the grocery store on Sunday doesn't mean you are going to drink it on Sunday. If you do your grocery shopping on Sunday, do you eat all the food the day you buy it? It's simply a matter of convenience... and a matter of freedom of choice.
Racism is just like a box of crayons--it comes in more than one color!!!
Having worked for MARTA, for years, as a construction contractor, I can tell you that for every dollar spent at least two dollars are wasted. Yes, it is all about the management!
If we spend Govt Stimulus money on Roads and Bridges then make damn sure that there is not a single illegal on any jobsite.
You can go live with Al and Jesse, since you've been taken in by them already. Fact is, we desperately need more Bill Cosby's in the world.
I don't think the point was that one form of slavery is worse than another. The point is, GET OVER THE PAST and move on.
How can the Lottery people take a bonus, and then announce that the book money is running out?
Jesse and Al wouldn't know a just cause if it fell in their lap. Exposure and exploitation for financial gain is all they know.
A mayor being held accountable to her INACTION by the residents & reporters doesn't make those people crazy.
To all the people out of work, keep your head up! We are Americans, we will get through this, and we will be strong again.
Why is it that if a group of Whites protest and boycott a black business it is racism, but if Jesse and AL were to do it to a White business, it is "their right to speak out against oppression?"
The word OCTOMOM should be banned by the media...we normal people are SICK of her !!
Why should a white vendor have to take on a black minority partner to do business with the Atlanta Airport?
To the moronic drivers going 75 South in the emergency lane when all lanes were blocked due to an accident - your stupidity kept the emergency response vehicles from reaching the accident. How stupid are you?
Stop asking taxpayers if they're willing to pay more taxes for schools. Send your reporters into the classrooms of the most disrespectful students and ask them what they need for a quality education. I bet their answers will reveal a lot more about what they need from home than from our schools.
