Getting there
Tunica is about a 30-minute drive southwest of Memphis, Tenn., in the northern part of Mississippi bordered by the Mississippi River. U.S. Highway 61 runs north-south through the town, which lies west of I-55 at Exit 283 (Hwy. 304 West and I-69 South/Hwy. 713 Tunica Junction).

Tunica Airport (877.359.8864 or www.tunicaairport.com), a general aviation airport, is located just east of downtown Tunica.

Tunica hosts several festivals throughout the year, including the spring Rivergate Barbeque Festival, a July 4th celebration, Gospel Music Festival the first weekend in October, Delta Day Festival in the fall and a Wild Game Cook-Off in the winter.
