Getting there
Biloxi is located on the Gulf Coast of Mississippi about 80 miles east of New Orleans, La., and about 60 miles west of Mobile, Ala. Travelers can follow I-55, I-65 or I-85 south to I-10 in Mobile, Ala., or in Hammond, La. Head toward Gulfport and Biloxi. In Mississippi, take I-110 at D’Iberville south over the Back Bay of Biloxi to U.S. Highway 90. Highway 90 runs along the coastline.

Biloxi hosts several festivals and events each year, including Mardi Gras celebrations, a Christmas festival, classic cars Cruisin’ the Coast in October, Smokin’ the Sound boat races in April, the Biloxi Seafood Festival in September, and the annual Blessing of the Fleet and Shrimp Festival (
