Matthew Stafford continues the tradition of successful Bulldog quarterbacks. The 6-foot-3, 237 pound junior is nicknamed “The Truth” by offensive coordinator Mike Bobo because Stafford has the ability to do everything expected of an NFL-caliber quarterback. Stafford was one of the nation's top-rated quarterbacks coming out of Highland Park High School in Dallas, Texas. He was 6-2 as a starter his freshman year and was named to the SEC All-Freshman team by the league's coaches. He started every game as a sophomore and led Georgia to a 11-2 record, throwing for 2,523 yards and 21 touchdowns.
