Miller Grove two-sport standout Kenneth Gilstrap originally planned to make a verbal commitment to a college scholarship Monday, but decided he wanted more time. "I decided to hold off my commitment," he said via text message Monday. "After I evaluated some things, it made me think things over." Gilstrap didn't elaborate, but he did say last week that Western Kentucky, the lone school to offer him scholarships in football and track, was "still my leader." He also visited Middle Tennessee State this past weekend, and was invited to watch Georgia Tech play Miami last Thursday night. Gilstrap, who has 4.31 speed in the 40, is a blue-chip track prospect as a sprinter with track offers from Tech, South Carolina, Kentucky, Kansas State and Louisville and Western Kentucky. His football offers include Western Kentucky, Ohio, Richmond, Middle Tennessee and Alabama-Birmingham. Gilstrap can play receiver, kick returner and defensive back in football.
