Carver RB Demond Dennis favors Auburn
12 p.m. Friday, August 22, 2008Tailback Demond Dennis of Atlanta’s Carver High said he is favoring Auburn over several other college choices. The 5-foot-10, 193-pound Dennis, a member of the AJC’s The Georgia 150, said he wants to take official visits to Auburn, Louisville and Alabama-Birmingham. He is also considering a trip to Illinois. Dennis said some of his other offers are from Alabama, Central Florida, East Carolina, Miami of Ohio and Western Kentucky. “I really like Auburn because they run the same offense we do, and they send a lot of running backs to the next level [NFL],” Dennis said. Dennis plays in the shadows of Carver teammate Darren Myles, who is one of the nation’s top safety prospects.
