Considered the state's best DL prospect, Smith had 108 tackles and 14 sacks last season. Offers include all of the SEC except Kentucky, as well as Clemson and Ohio State. Scored 1280 on the SAT and is on track to graduate high school early. Brother of Georgia Tech A-back Greg Smith, who announced in March that he will transfer. Garrison Smith visited UGA's Junior Day on June 21, and came away impressed. He did not make a commitment, however.
