Worth Noting

This 6-foot-4 offensive tackle gets off the ball extremely well. The UAB signee finishes the play and will continue blocking downfield. He's also strong to run behind on goal-line situations. Hubbard is extremely fast for an offensive lineman, with a 40 time of 4.6 seconds. Hubbard was named first-team Class AAA all-state by the Georgia Sports Writers Association. He finished the season with 77 pancake blocks. His cousin, Ed King, played in the NFL.

Player Performance

Strengths

An aggressive run blocker. Quick feet. Athletic. Makes good contact with his hands and is capable of knocking his opponent off the ball. Great attitude toward the game. Coach Dell McGee said he's consistent on the field and loves to compete.

Questionables

Weight. At 250 lbs., Hubbard has to bulk up for the next level. He also needs to work on remaining patient in pass-protection situations and not engaging too soon because a quicker defensive end may get around him.
