Chris Burnette has know for a lifetime where he wanted to go to college, . So when an offer came from Georgia it didn't take long for the Troup offensive lineman to say yes. "It's been a little crazy down here with all this, " said Troup coach Bubba Jeter. "[Alabama coach Nick] Saban was here the other day. Florida was in here today. But he grew up a Bulldog fan, and that is where he always wanted to go." Because of a limited class size, Georgia might take only 15 recruits in the 2009 class. Georgia coach Mark Richt also said that because the 2008 class has been wrapped up for some time, coaches have evaluated and offered 2009 prospects earlier than usual. Burnette, who carries a 4.0 GPA, could be in line to enroll early for Georgia. Several offensive linemen have taken that route in the past two years. And one, left tackle Trinton Sturdivant, was able to make an impact as a true freshman.
