Jefferson County’s Barry “B.J.” Bostic, one of three Georgia Tech recruits to enroll early, was shocked when he first stepped on a scale on The Flats. It read “158 pounds.” The 5-foot-10 athlete was reported to weigh between 175-185 pounds during recruiting. “I thought I weighed more for sure,” Bostic told the AJC’s Michael Carvell. But Bostic is already putting on pounds, thanks to intense weight-room workouts and a new-found favorite in the Tech cafeteria. “Cheeseburgers,” he said with a laugh. “I love ‘em.”
AJC Super 11 selection could play any skill position for the Yellow Jackets.
