He is 31st on's national rankings; No. 2 safety by, which rankes him as a 5-star prospect. Has more than 30 offers, including Oregon, Auburn, Clemson, Florida, FSU, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Maryland, Miami, North Carolina, West Virginia, LSU, Arkansas. Said in March that his top three are Miami, Florida and Georgia.Had 62 tackles, two sacks and four blocked kicks in 2008. Averaged 10 points and 10 rebounds on Newnan's basketball team.

Fast, athletic, physical. Described as a linebacker with safety speed. A very hard-hitter who also excels on special teams. Should play early in college. Good instincts.


Has few glaring weeknesses. Biggest question may be which position he plays in college. He could grow into an outside linebacker at the next level. One scout analysis said he could improve his backpedal speed.
