Stockbridge WR to visit South Carolina

Stockbridge wide receiver Kevin Burke, a member of the AJC The Georgia 150, visited Jacksonville State and came away pondering a connection with former LSU quarterback Ryan Perriloux. “They were talking about how he would be throwing the ball to me,” said Burke, who attended the Gamecocks’ game against Alabama A&M. Burke is planning to visit South Carolina in the next couple of weeks. “They’ve been talking about how they need receivers over there and how they want to pass the ball more,” he said

Stockbridge’s Rachell to visit Memphis

Stockbridge linebacker Thad Rachell is planning to visit Memphis University this weekend for the Tigers’ game against Nicholls State. Rachell, who is awaiting official offers, has drawn interested from SEC and ACC schools, but Memphis has drawn his attention because former Stockbridge quarteback Tyler Bass is playing for the Tigers. “It’s a good school,” said Rachell, a member of the AJC’s The Georgia 150. “They have good academics and a good program. It seems like the coaches are real good and they take care of you up there.”
