6:50 p.m. Monday, October 27, 2008Berkmar linebacker Troy Davis, who is committed to Central Florida, said the Knights came to check on him this week. The 6-foot-2, 210-pound Davis said Central Florida recruiting coordinator and linebackers coach Geoff Collins was at the team’s workouts on Tuesday. “He just wanted to see how things were going, how my senior year was coming along, and look at some of [Berkmar’s] younger players” Davis said. Davis said he will likely take his official visit to Central Florida in early December. He committed to the Knights over East Carolina. Davis says he still gets mail from Virginia Tech and Vanderbilt, but that he is sticking with his decision
