Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area
The Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area is made up of a series of sites a long a 48-mile stretch of the river between the city of Atlanta and Lake Lanier. A large variety of activities are available in the area including hiking, canoeing, kayaking, picnics and more. Parking anywhere in the recreation area is $3 for the day and $25 for an annual pass.
