Yes, the drought has dropped the water level at Lake Lanier more than 12 feet below full summer pool. But there is still more than 30,000 acres of water out there and 10 marinas from which to access it are all open for business. (For now, anyway.) So, before you tow your boat that way, use this guide to contact the marina for current conditions.
