Newly restored Plaza Hotel open for business
The $400 million renovation of New York's Plaza Hotel was completed in three years. The historic landmark has welcomed many celebrity visitors. Marilyn Monroe was photographed there, and the Beatles and Frank Lloyd Wright stayed there. Scenes from the movies "North by Northwest," "Barefoot in the Park" and "Home Alone 2" were shot there.
