Popular music festivals
Sadly, Atlanta's own music festival, Music Midtown, is no more. It ran from 1994-2005. The festival was never quite the same once it moved to the Civic Center grounds. Horrible weather, including torrential downpours which turned parts of the festival into mud pits didn't help. The festival went on hiatus in 2006. CATHY SEITH/AJC Special
