Cruise lines such as the Emerald Princess reposition their ships between winters in the Caribbean and summers in Europe. Repositioning cruises usually attract an older, quieter crowd of coffee-drinkers, novel-readers, gamblers, card-players, deck-walkers and nappers who want few, if any, port stops and organized activities.
