Travel photo contest / Places (Top 10)
This was shot at White Sands National Park in July 2007. It was amazing to watch these huge dark storm clouds move over the white sand dunes. I hand held my camera for 20 minutes or so watching and waiting for the lightning strikes. I feel very fortunate to have captured an image like this.See story for judges' comments. Kevin Abeyta
