From Herschel to Knowshon: Great UGA running backs
Tim Worley (1985-88) was one of UGA's first great out-of-state running backs. The native of Lumberton, N.C., drew comparisons to Herschel Walker with his combination of speed and size. Worley rushed for 1,216 yards on 191 carries in 1988 after redshirting the 1987 season for academic reasons. He skipped his final season to enter the NFL draft. Rich Addicks / AJC file
