BEST/WORST SONG: Boomer Sooner, Oklahoma's fight song, was written in 1905 (borrowinig the melody from Yale's "Boola Boola") and is also the name of the Sooner Schooner's two ponies (above). Basically you just repeat the words Boomer, Sooner and throw in an occasional Oklahoma. Rocky Top, Tennesse's unofficial fight song, was written in 1967 and became a top-40 country music hit.
