Georgia's 2008 season in review

(3) GEORGIA 30, (8) ALABAMA 41 -- Matthew Stafford threw for 274 yards and a pair of touchdowns for Georgia, which saw an 11-game winning streak come to an end. Alabama dominated the first half, scoring on each of its five possessions for a 31-0 halftime lead. The tide turned in the second half, but the lead was too great to overcome and the Bulldogs' rally came up short. Georgia's normally strong rushing attack was silenced, as Knowshon Moreno finished with just 34 yards on nine carries. Brant Sanderlin / bsanderlin@ajc.com
