Georgia Bulldogs 2008 Football Schedule
Sept. 13, Columbia, S.C.: Georgia fans love to hate on Steve Spurrier -- with good reason. The stinging loss to South Carolina (6-6, 3-5 SEC) put an early dash on the Bulldogs' title hopes and elevated the "evil genius' " record against Georgia. Quarterback Chris Smelley will get the first chance to replace departed starter Blake Mitchell, but with Spurrier, nothing is for sure. CURTIS COMPTON / AJC
