SPIKE, FROM "TOM AND JERRY": Besides Jerry, Spike was perhaps Tom's biggest foe in the 1940s and '50s. Sometimes he was known as Butch or Killer, but whatever his name, Spike tried to muddle Tom's life as much as possible.
