March 31, 2004: Turner Broadcasting sells the Thrashers, along with the NBA's Hawks and operating rights to Philips Arena, to the Atlanta Spirit, LLC - a group of investors led by Steven Belkin (from left), Ed Peskowitz, Michael Gearon Jr., Bernie Mullin, Bruce Levenson, and J. Rutherford Seydel II.
