Tech's 2009 football schedule
Sept. 26 vs. North Carolina. Finally, back to a Saturday game. In 2008 the Jackets outgained the Tar Heels, 423-314, but couldn't muster more than a touchdown in a loss in Chapel Hill last season. Despite the loss, Tech has won nine of the past 11 between the schools and leads the all-time series, 23-18-3, against North Carolina (8-5, 4-4 ACC). Johnny Crawford / jcrawford@ajc.com
