Georgia Tech's 2011 season
Georgia Tech entered the 2011 season under a cloud of controversy. An NCAA investigation involving former players Demaryius Thomas and Morgan Burnett resulted in the Jackets vacating their 2009 ACC title, being fined $100,000 and placed on four years' probation.
