Glen Mason, former head coach, Minnesota: Mason, 56, took Minnesota to seven bowl games in eight seasons before a conflict with the athletics director led to his dismissal after the 2006 season. He led Kansas to a 10-2 season in 1995. Also in 1995 he took the job at Georgia replacing Ray Goff only to change his mind a week later to remain at Kansas. AP
