Two fights propelled Muhammad Ali, then known as Cassius Clay, into boxing's limelight.He shocked the sports world by beating heavyweight champion Sonny Liston in 1964. Proving that it wasn't a fluke, he knocked out Liston in one round during their rematch a few months later (above). AP
