Despite a stomach virus that had confined him to bed throughout the day, Michael Jordan scored 38 points, including a clutch three-pointer in the closing minutes, to lead the Bulls to a 90-88 victory over the Utah Jazz in Game 5 of the 1997 NBA Finals. Jordan and the Bulls won Game 6 of the series to clinch the fifth of their six NBA titles. AP
