Let's not forget our own local gimpy heroic moment, Sid Bream hobbling his way around the bases to win the 1992 NLCS against the Pirates. Bream, never fleet of foot, had a sore knee as he lumbered home from second base on a two-out, ninth-inning hit in Game 7 at old Atlanta-Fulton County Stadium. AP
