Hawks' deadline deals
2005: After just one season in Atlanta, the Hawks traded forward Antoine Walker and cash to Boston in exchange for guard Gary Payton, forward Tom Gugliotta, center Michael Stewart, and a future first-round pick. Payton never played for the Hawks. He was released by Atlanta and re-signed with Boston for the remainder of the season. Curtis Compton / ccompton@ajc.com
