Tough job: Being Falcons' QB
Veteran QB Steve DeBerg was a backup in 1998, but played in eight games at age 44. Known for his toughness, DeBerg played with laryngitis and wore a portable amplifier during games with San Francisco and also played with an exposed metal pin sticking out of his finger in a Chiefs playoff victory.
