Falcons' 2009 season in review
FALCONS 19, PANTHERS 28 -- The Falcons lost Michael Turner (above) to a sprained right ankle in the second quarter after he had already rushed for 111 yards -- his third straight 100-plus yard game. Quarterback Matt Ryan was 22 of 41 for 224 yards and one touchdown, but he threw two interceptions -- including one on the team's final drive -- and now has 12 on the season. Jason Elam missed a 34-yard field goal that would have given Atlanta the lead with six minutes in the game. AP
