Falcons' 2009 season in review

FALCONS 21, BEARS 14 -- Last season's game was remembered for the 11-second scoring drive. This year's will be remembered for the Falcons' three defensive stands -- the last coming in the final seconds -- in the red zone that kept the Bears out of the end zone. Falcons (4-1) matched the best five-game start in franchise history. Defensive back Thomas DeCoud had two interceptions for Atlanta. Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan, who had two touchdown passes but also threw two interceptions. Curtis Compton, ccompton@ajc.com
