Falcons trim roster to 53
Safety Deke Cooper (right) signed with the Falcons on June 20. The Swainsboro, Ga., native has been on the Browns, Panthers, Jaguars, Dolphins and 49ers since being signed as an undrafted free agent out of Notre Dame in 2000.
