Bad moments in Falcons' training camp history

Four years later, another holdout was the talk of training camp. Bruce Pickens was drafted No. 3 overall in 1991 and was expected to provide immediate help. He held out for 75 days, and then the Falcons found out that he couldn’t play. He signed a five-year, $7.125 million deal with a $2.65 million signing bonus, the largest one in franchise history at the time. George Rose, Getty Images
